my budies probe gt
my best bud just bought a 93 ford probe gt. it's rocking a 160-165hp dohc v6 and weighs almost as little as my 7th gen, his car is at 2800pounds. the stock 0-60 is supposed to be around 7-7.5. how ever we took it for a drive and it was quite a bit slower then my car.
anybody have a probe or has had one who could give info on why it isn't performing.
the car has an intake and exhaust system. i havn't checked how big the exhaust is yet but even if it was too big for the back pressure i don't think that much power would be lost.
the oil is new and the trany fluid. we havv't swapped the plugs yet. the car starts fine but is there a way old plugs could sap so much power? is it posibble the car would still run if a cylinder wasn't firing?
