How can I beat a Ford Probe?
Is there any chance that we 7th Gen Civics can beat a Ford Probe GT?
My buddy has a probe gt and we were racing all around Sauga last night and he beats me every time.
Off the start, I beat him in first but as soon as I shift into 2nd he just flies right by me.. dammit..
I have a magnaflow muffler (just the muffler) on order for next week. I should just scrap that and get a Skunk2 or Magnaflow catback, an AEM CAI, and friggin NOS then i'll be able to beat him.. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG]

i think you better pray that he stalls his when he's getting out of first......other than that your gonna have to spend a bit of cash if you want to beat him .... i have abuddy with a 5.0 mustang 1989 - kills me everytime - but then again he needs jumper cables everytime he wants to start his car -
the exhaust you choose wont make a difference most of em provide the same gains/losses
intake might add 1hp
you're better off throwing oil onto the ground infront of him
or distract him by flailing your arms real funny before the green

Rep Power: 0 I beat a ford probe GT.... with my '90 Accord... never tried it with my civic yet. I agree with Supyo, maybe you can point to one direction and say "Look, it's Spiderman!!!" then GO!!! new dodge neon... pontiac sunfire.... keep in mind they're a lot cheaper in price... but everything about them are crap... like their ext/interior... finish... etc.... so in general... civics are good stuff... but slow?

yes neon breaks down every month (my dad's friend bought a new one in 2000 and it was a lemon)
