Ok so i thought i had a nice setup, a 2.5" mandrel bent stainless catback exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler. It is loud (over 105db) on WOT, it sounds great all around even up high, maybe a lil ricey in 1st and 2nd gear but oh well. Anyways, I got pulled over on friday night for noise violation (was going 35mph, not fast), they sound checked my exhaust and it wailed the meter haha. Well the violation gives me 10 days to get it off or a court order to have it taken off if i am caught again. Im still driving it because its my only means of transportation.

I was looking into a stock RSX-S muffler since it has that cool little mechanism inside in (i think on later models?) but i cant find any and theres no way in hell im putting my stock muffler back on, would that even make a nice hum? any input would be good. Just need a muffler.

just get a glass pack installed, it takes some of the sound away, and loses the rice-ness, i had to do the same thing on mine, works great for 65 bucks

the 05-06 rxs-s is supposed to have a little valve that opens under WOT


which is circled but i guess it only comes on the type- R one . some guy ripped his 05 Rsx-s one apart and it wasnt there.
