Trans swap

I have the 92 dx 1.5 and was wondering if I can put the 97 dx 1.6 transmission on to the 92 1.5 engine.

Yes, but you may need to use the flywheel, pressure plate, and friction disc from that transmission if it has a different imput shaft.

The best way to tell would be to look up the clutch set on an Auto parts website and then either check compatibility with the other year and make Honda or just make sure the part numbers are the same.
