I am looking for engine mounts for my EJ11 1995 Civic EX Coupe with a manual transmission. Everything I find is for H and B engines but I have the original D and want to keep it that way.

Does anyone know where I can buy some? It would be great if they came with a lifetime warranty.

I want polyurethane for street use but would take strip. Thank you in advance.

Are D and B motor mounts the same for the 5th gen Civics? The transmission mounts are the same as well?

I did it on my front and my passenger (transmission) mounts. My tranny mount was terribly cracked and the center of my front mount came out with no resistance when I did it.

I've seen those but I would imagine that you need to have good mounts to begin with in order to use the inserts. I would prefer a one piece that can be exchanged with one business when it goes bad.

The reviews also complain about the car shaking when idling. The dash, sunroof, change in cups. Vibration is not good on solder joints. Next thing will be I have electrical issues. So, no I don't think this product is for me.

Just replace with stock, or it will be louder and vibrate more.

If it is broken, then you will notice immediate improvement.

I have a strong dislike for slip in poly inserts, I would get a real poly bushing that is pressed/molded in instead, if you are going that route.

and I am going to buy stock mounts for the front from Majestic Honda if I cannot find some from an auto parts store with lifetime warranty.


Does anybody know of stock replacement mounts for the number 11 and 12 in the illustration? I want lifetime warranty.

Holy crap $300! Are they made of platinum with diamond fasteners?

I sure hope so because I just bought them. They come with a lifetime warranty and that is what sold me. I was going to go with Hasport but didn't want to spend another $70.
