95 civic cx rear brake back plate

95 civic cx rear brake back plate
Went to bleed rear drum brakes and was unable due to amount of corrosion on back of the drum plate. Tried to find replacement and was unable to find one from dealer (discontinued) nor junkyard. Saw that the plate was available for 96, but the hub assembly (I believe) is different. So basically I'm scratching my head at what to do. Was thinking about switching to disc, but don't really want to have to add the proportional valve.
Any thoughts?
