engine harness swap
Hi everyone,Im new to here and new to civics,I have a 95 dx with a 1.5 in it.I bought a 1.6 vtec to swap it with.(1.5 needed rebuilding)I was told I will need a 1.6 vtec engine harness.I have axcess to a 2.2 accord vtec harness,does anyone know if it will work?

Nope. You need a VTEC harness for that gen Civic. If yours is a manual tranny then you can use the manual or auto tranny harness but, you have to rewire the nuetral safety switch circuit on the auto tranny harness. PLUS, you'll need a 1.6 VTEC ECM/PCM (computer) to make it run right.
