Rep Power: 0 Ecu's and timing belt cover?
Ok, so I have the mini-me (z6 head on a d15b7 block) engine, and I was wondering what ECU's would work for the vtec addition- I know there's the ever famous and popular p28, and the more high end p74 (I think?), but are there other ecu's that would work with the vtec and be just as good? I'm not interested in a super fast quarter mile racer, just something that runs properly (and maybe gets 40 mpg ).
Also, the jerk that did the engine swap did not swap over the timing belt cover. The timing belt seems nice and snug on there, but I don't feel comfortable with everything all exposed . What cover do I use, the z6 (to match the head) or the b7 (to match the block)?
Thanks all.

Ok. I guess since the z6 was the head from the ex, I'll just go with the ecu to match- keep it simple, right?
Anyone have any ideas about the timing belt cover?
