Rep Power: 0 Bent my exhaust Today
Hey
So today I was trying to take the Cat-Converter off my Civic and I bent the Exhaust pipe Right beside the rear tire, the nuts for the U bolt were all rusty and I couldnt get them off. I tried not to bend it but it just happened,I finally used a zip-cut and cut it off where the pipe meets the Cat.Im just wondering if that bend in the pipe is going to hurt anything or If I should get under there and bend it back.My car has the Cat near the trunk and the car has been lowered so thats why I took it off,it was rattling and I dont think it was working properly anyways.I just need to know what size diameter glass-pack I should get to fit the original Exhaust,I think a 2" flow-tech red hot would slide right in and fit nicely but im not sure If I have to weld it or not.I was also just wondering If I omitted the air filter and stuck a cone right on the port if Id have to drill a whole and drop the maf sensor in or If Id be better off waiting and ordering a cold air intake.
thnx for the help.
