Frost on the inside of car. . . why?
Frost on the inside of car. . . why?
Hey, I have a 94 ex and I woke up to frost on the inside of my car. I don't know if there are any leaks but I don't think there are. No windows or doors were left open. My mom's 95 grand am gt does this, but it has a massive floor pan leak so we know that is the cause. I just was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if a leak caused it where the leak was. It does have rust on the door panels and rear quarter panels, could that be the location of a possible leak? Thanks for any ideas, and sorry if I haven't provided enough information.
Re: Frost on the inside of car. . . why?
I sometimes have a problem with condensation if it's really humid. Reasoning for mine is because the rubber seal between the driver's side door and the car itself needs to be replaced. check the seals around the doors and trunk. see if there are any cracks, tears, rips, ect...
Re: Frost on the inside of car. . . why?
do u have a sub? if you do the leak could be from where the power wire is going through the fire wall, if you dont just double check and see if all the rubber gromits in you fire wall are all good still, alot of the time from the car heating upo in the winter then getting cold they will crack, i had to replace them in my old 1990 civic si
