so when i start my civic the idle starts jumping up and down until it gets warm. After that it does the same thing under very light accelaration the car starts jumping back and forth. Someone told me it was the map sensor???any ideas..i have a d16z6

It could be a map is it throwing any ECU codes? and it only does it when the engine is cold?

it culd be your idle air control or throttle position sensor.

thanks guys but i ended up looking at the ecu and it was the wrong ecu..so went out and bought a p28 ecu and fixed the problem
