1992 civic dx sedan d15b7 new fuel pump plugs wires cap rotor fuel pressure regulator throttle body but still stumbles with a popping noise(detonation) in exhaust manifold and lacks power. if i pinch off the fuel return line at the regulator the car runs real strong and perfect. unclamped it wont accelerate much but seems to be ok in park and neutral. help please. update!!!!!new map sensor, no luck. car will run ok for a few seconds then like crap with a dtc 1. o2 tests okay fuel press. ok. can any one please help, im at the end of a short rope with this car!!

Re: 92 civic running rough

Measure the fuel pressure with and without the FPR vacuum hose connected and check the ignition timing with a timing gun.

Re: 92 civic running rough

Did you check the ignition timing with a timing gun and the service connector jumped?

For code 1, have you checked the O2 sensor wires (voltage, shorts, continuity)?
