I plan on getting my trunk completely insulated and having a custom fiberglass enclosure in my trunk. I plan on getting the fiberglass throughout the whole trunk and having 1 sub face the up/front and one up/back of the trunk. I was just wondering what is a rough estimate for the Fiberglass because I have no idea.

Well depends on what all you want, we charge around $550 for a basic fiberglass box in the wheel well, wood top. If you want a fiberglass top board, painted and all it can get real expensive.

OK so I glassed the bottom and built the edge of the box on the top of the trunk above the actual tirewell.

Here it is out of the trunk

Here is a shot from the top

Here is how I measured airspace for ports

Here is the lid with the holes for the subs

With one sub in

With the lid duraglassed and one amp in

and finally

yeah. You get a lot more airspace with glass than 90 degree angles with MDF

The "seal a meal" method is WAYYY easier. Put Dynamat down on the floor then build the MDF wall. Finally use dynamat to adhere the walls to the floor. No glass needed. AND it's semi removable.
