new to forums. need help with 87 oil use!
I have a 87 1.5L 3bl hatch that is using abput a quart of oil every 100 to 150 miles. It has a 192K and runs great. Good power it just seems to use oil more than gas! It is worse when it is cold and the choke is running high. I tuned it up about 2 weeks ago and non of the plugs looked wet or oily? Any ideas or suggestions??? Thanks ahead of time as I know I will get the help I need.

Same thing happened to my 95dx. Ran smooth, power was fine, but uses oil a LOT. Your car probably smokes a lot (white smoke=burnt oil). Next time when you hit the gas from a stop light, check your rearview for smoke. I ended up swapping the block.....
