Question can i have some advice??

hey! i have a eg coupe special edition, it has a d15 motor i dont know wat sort as it is a vtec but i cant find any info on it! anyways i have a turbo kit now and apart from a new exaust system i dont really know wat else to upgrade? can i use the standard ecu or wil i have to get a hondata ecu for example. i have been told that the d series motors can take turbos well is this true? if not wat internals shall i look to upgrade!!! i am on a very tight budget and i dont want an insanely fast car i just want to stop the pestering turbo puntos and 106 gti's lol. any help will be very much appreciated thanks!

Re: can i have some advice??

no its not true, a stock motor will wear out fast with a turbo, the internals were not designed for the abuse. and yea you will need some sort of fuel system and tuning. standalone EMS is your best option.
