What is this idk?

I just bought this car for $700, the drivetrain is in decent shape and blah blah blah. Will someone please inform me what this Honda specifically is? CX, what does that mean? Is there more than one type of bumper(s) for this chassis? Why is my shifter so loose? Possible worn shifter linkage?? What are the specific specs for this car? And other interesting details like interchangeable parts with other Honda’s and etc.. thanks!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

You should have asked the seller.
Your title paperwork should tell you too.

Looks like an older, well used Civic hatchback with manual trans. And manual windows. And a missing radio.

You can learn a lot from the cars VIN. Type your VIN into google. Or the VIN decoder on this forum. Or an online Honda dealer parts catalog.
CX, what does that mean?
It's just a trim level. In this case it looks like it's the equivalent of "Plain Jane" IMO

Probably needs some new bushings. You should get under the car to figure out where the looseness originates.

Thanks my man, I’m trying to bring this thing to it’s former glory. I’m already tackling bodywork . Any recommendations to do?
