Just bought a Civic
Ok, so I just bought my first civic. It’s always been the body style I like. 2000 EX. Bought it with 137k miles. The car is straight but sat for over a year. I’m encountering some issues.
1st. Car gives me a hard start when cold. Once warm it cranks and starts fine. ( Replaced fuel filter and plugs)
2nd. I heard some grinding noise toward the area of the starter while on. I’ve only heard it once.
3rd. Fuel gauge is stuck on E. I have taken the cluster of to see if it’s stuck but that didn’t help.

-for the cold start I'd check this video first, since it's an easy fix and cheap.
second test the temperature sensor
-for the fuel level, check the in tank fuel level sensor.
