98 civic dx alternator issue

So my headlights were pulsating and my alternator was making noises and I decided to replace it. Went to Junkyard and they gave me 99-00 Mitsubishi manufactured one, looks the same as the one I took out, same plug ins. Anyway I installed it, but it's not charging the battery at all. Took it out , had it tested. It's working fine, put it back in, made sure all the wires and plug was attached, still not charging the battery, any ideas?

How did you verify this? Voltmeter? Warning light on?

Check for blown fuse #15 in the dash
If that's blown there should be a bunch of fault codes too.

Check all wiring, a service manual should tell the procedures
