What are the reasons an engine light would not throw codes? My 2000 lx randomly stalls/engine stops and sometimes restarts right away on its own and sometimes not... Battery, alternator, starter, O2 sensors, transmission, ecu, spark plugs good. Doesn't have a rough idle or back fire, etc and fuel usage is still really good. Mechanic can't figure it out with no codes and all "looking good"
