Lowered Ride
Lowered Ride
Hey guys,
I bought my 2000 Si used and the previous owner lowered it with Tein S-Tech springs and Koni STR.T struts. The tires that came with the car were 205/40/17. I had wheel rubbing issues in the front, so I swapped out all four of the S-Tech springs (-2") for Eibach Pro springs (-1.5"). Didn't change the struts. Wheel rubbing went away.
I recently replaced the wheels and tires for 205/50/16, which caused a .5" increase in overall diameter. From how it looks, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get wheel rubbing again, especially if the car is loaded.
I'm not trying to change anymore suspension parts for now, so do you guys know of any good ways to reduce wheel rubbing? Maybe there's such a thing as more curved wheel well liners or something?
