What is this piece called?

It's a rubber strip on the exterior of the window door to prevent water from entering the door panel, and I guess prevent damage to the door when the window is rolled all the way down.
I highlighted it in red.

2000 Civic Hatchback DX

What's the name, can it be replaced, how and where can I get a new one? lol Thanks!

Great, that's the piece!
I'm assuming it's universal for left and right side, kind of looks like it anyways.

Re: What is this piece called?

If you're looking for a replacement because the rubberized coating is cracking, exposing the metal backing, then a cheaper alternative is to buya can of plastidip, strip it completely, tape it off, then spray down a layer or two of plastidip.

Re: What is this piece called?

My piece is letting water down, it's cracked, chipped and warped. Plasti wouldn't save it.

Re: What is this piece called?

BTW, I took a look at the door and that #4 piece is found on the INSIDE of the door. I'm looking for the actual rubber piece that's found on the direct opposite of the window on the EXTERIOR side.

Hmm, maybe I'll suffer a little while longer, kind of expensive.
Problem is when I wash my car in winter, my latch/lock and tumbler freeze solid!
Climbing through the hatch FTL.

Don't get caught doing it

It's still better than me, though, mine is a coupe, harder to do it...

Had a few frozen door episodes myself too...

Re: What is this piece called?

Grease the latch and linkages real good.
You will never stop all the water from coming in.
