1997 Hond civic ex upgrades
Hey guys, im new to this area of forums. I was wondering if anyone can help me with what kinds of upgrades i can do to get my car to get more horse power and maybe answer a few questionsi have like, if i upgrade the exsaust would the smog test be affected? Thanks guys

Are you located in Cali? As long as you keep the cat you should good, if your in Cali, I don't know.
What's your budget? What is your hp goal? Are you open to turbo or engine swap? Is it a daily driver?

I am in cali, my buidget is maybe $2000 because it is a old car but i do see everyone in my area seems to have upgraded theirs. I do drive daily and what im really looking for is getting better acceleration speed, everthing time I punch it it goes all out but it feels like it can go faster but something is slowing it down and i want to unlock its potential.
