HELP!!! Having Issues With Cooling System In 2000 Si
So about a month ago I replaced the thermostat at a shop...my car started overheating slightly so I thought that was the issue...Now my fan does not turn on anymore and when I trickle charge it with the battery it works fine....so I went a got a fan switch and replaced that....still nothing.....also my rad does not hold coolant it all gets dumped back into the reservoir and every week or so i have to dump the reservoir back into the rad and bleed the system and top it off again....I have no coolant leaks anywhere because my driveway is spotless and also the bottom hose of the rad never gets hot (therefore no coolant flowing through)....only the top hose gets hot and unless it overheats a bit then the lower hose gets some coolant through it, but the fan never turns on.....
So my question is what could be causing this? Could the thermostat be faulty or installed improperly? Or could the rad be clogged somewhere and not allow flow of coolant properly?
If i could get some help with this I would appreciate it a lot.
Thanks
