Maintenance to be done at 128k miles??

Hey Guys, I just bought a 2000 Civic EX and this is my first post! I wanting do the timing belt, water pump, & tensioner change as the previous owner had it from 85k - 128k miles (what's on it now) and he hadn't performed this service. Did some reading already, but had the following questions:

1) Does the crank & camshaft seals need to be replaced at this time, or can they wait for the next timing belt change in about 100k miles?
2) Is there a separate oil pump seal, and should that be changed?
3) The accessory belts were changed at 90k miles and still look okay, however they do have almost 40k miles on them... so should I change them while I'm in there??
4) Should I change out the thermostat?
5)Other things I'm thinking of changing as part of preventatiuve maintenance are fuel filter, spark plugs, plug wires, & distributor cap.

I'm mostly concerned about what needs to be changed when going in for the t-belt change (#1-4), as a bunch of stuff needs to be removed. Are the items in #5 overkill??

Only thing a bit abnormal at the moment is... whenever I start it in the morning (whenever the engine is cold), it revs to about 1500rpm and stays there for about 2-3 minutes. Since I start driving the car a few seconds after startup, the car is obviously trying to go on me even if I'm braking (it's an automatic) when coming to stops. Once warmed up though, it idles fine at @700rpm. Is this normal?

Glad to be part of this forum... can't wait to start doing some mods once all the PM is done!

One thing I forgot to ask was... I read somewhere that the valves may need adjustment. At 128k miles how do I know if this is needed or not? It seems to be running smooth & strong with no funny sounds or anything to indicate that valve adjustment is necessary! Just don't want mechanics to mess with something that's good... especially if nothing is needed!

yeah i wouldnt mess with valves because almost always it becomes worse after adjustment. i would do as much as you can while everything is open. seals, belts, etc. and yes high idle speed on a cold day is normal to warm the engine faster. when warm, it should be around 700 rpms. on really cold days, ive had mine idle to 2000 rpms when car is first started.

gearbox, thanks for your advice... especially about not adjusting the valves. I will go ahead and change the seals and all the accessoty belts. Would anyone know if there is an oil pump seal??

yeah but that doesnt get touched unless you replace the pump. far too much effort if it doesnt leak.
