1999 DX-VP exhaust manifold gasket Q's. Re-installing after being welded.
OK i got my exhaust manifold's cracks welded up. I noticed a very thin stainless steel looking gasket up at the head, but how about at the bottom/after the cat to the mid pipe? I didn't find a gasket in-between there? I never noticed any exhaust leak prior? Isn't there supposed to be a gasket there?? Also, could the upper/thin one at the head be re-used??

Anytime i remove something with a gasket, i replace the gasket. Even if a gasket was working well before, it usually doesn't work well after.

I got the manifold gasket, but Autozone didn't have anything for after the cat (although I didn't see one there to begin with)

Should be able to re-use the metal manifold gasket.
