d16y8 head gaskets?
Re: d16y8 head gaskets?
if you are doing it yourself you could do it for around 200 bucks, remember to replace the head bolts and when taking the head off undo them in the opposite pattern as when you are torquing them up. Make 100% sure that you set the timing marks before you remove the timing belt and do not let it move when you take the head off. Get a haynes manual it details the whole process for you and make sure you check the head and block using a long straight edge and a feeler gauge to check for warpage if there is any get it machined at a machinist shop. I also like to clean the pistons and valves when its off using carb cleaner to get rid of any carbon buildup.
