Angry Another problem what a surprise

So i was on my way home today while listening to the radio in my car when something strange happened. i flashed the brights to let someone over and all my gages and radio turned off for a second before going right back to where they were as if nothing had ever happened. i had my ignition switch replaced about a week ago due to a recall and i was wondering if my current problem has anything to do with the ignition switch being replaced or something else.

Maan that sucks. Hopefully it's not a short. Maybe it's just the signal switch needing to be changed. Idk but good luck with that man.

I had this happen before. Your multifunction switch may be loose. Take the column covers off (3 screws on the bottom, then they snap apart), tighten the switch, then put it back together.

Is that seriously it? I was gonna take it to the dealer tomorrow but I'm gonna try what you said before anything else.

Worth a try for free, right? lol

Sorry almost forgot, check for any loose connections in there too.

*NOTE: Disconnect battery and wait AT LEAST 3 minutes before you begin work. Don't want to blow the airbags.

Uhn... Steven21...
Not trying to be the the bad guy, but instead of trying to swap and boosting, shouldn't you be looking for the car's maintenance instead?

yes i am right there with you. but there is nothing seriously wrong with the engine it runs great but i keep getting snagged by all these little hiccups. this current issue is something that i think the dealership may have bumped something when replacing my ignition switch so they agreed to diagnose the problem for free. and i have terrible luck to go along with all this other stuff lol. i realize this is going to be a long and enduring process to get my car where i want it to be but im ready for the long haul. i've spent time restoring cars to an extent with my dad and came to expect that when you think something is going just as planned dont be surprised if you find something else that needs to be worked on working on anything with an engine is a constant struggle to get it exactly where it needs to be, especially with an 11 year old car. but thanks for the concern its much appreciated
