Angry Possible Serious Issue!!!

I have a 99 civic dx with 112000 miles on it. i am currently getting my parts together for a k20a2 sawp and uhhhhhhhhhhhh there is an issue with my current engine. recently it has started ticking when i accelerate (it eventually stops at about 25 mph) even when i am parked and i give it gas it still ticks. My cat converter and exhaust manifold are old and rusted out the *** so i am hoping its that and not a valve issue or even my timing belt which probably needs changed. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Possible Serious Issue!!!

You probably have a valve ticking in there. Go ahead and do a valve adjustment and that should fix it before it gets worse.

If it was a valve ticking it would do it all the time basically.
