New Owner, Please Help
New Owner, Please Help
I just purchased a 97 Civic LX. There is a random plug connector that I don’t know where it goes. I took a picture so you could see. Also, I have 6 engine codes that I’m hoping aren’t huge repairs. They are P1607, P0108, P0122, P0113, P0141, and P0453.
I’ve worked on cars, but mainly domestic. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to fix these codes? The car seems to run very well.

Re: New Owner, Please Help
P0108- MAP circuit high voltage
P0113- IAT cicuit high voltage
P0122- TP cicuit low voltage
P0141- secondary O2 sensor cicuit malfunction
P0453- FTP cicuit high voltage
P1607- ECM/PCM internal circuit malfunction
In every troubleshooting index I'm seeing it's leading back to the ECM/PCM, especially with the P1607 code. You can try to have a speed shop reflash your ECM/PCM, usually costs about $100. If that doesn't work it's probably a bad ECM/PCM, go to http://www.car-part.com/ and get a used one and have it reflashed. Or you can just go to the dealership and pay $1500 for a new ECM/PCM.
Good Luck.
