Spark plug fouls
I bought my 98 ex coupe last year with only 93k on it.
I have an issue with the first plug (furthest from the distributor).
It turns black on top. Then my car hesitates/bucks during acceleration.
I changed them all last time -- it went away. I am gonna change just this first one this time and see if that helps.
The plug is fine on the inside, inside the cylinder. Its the top of it, outside the block, under the boot, that turns pitch black.
Why am I getting all this carbon build up on this plug and no others? What can I do? Is the timing off? Is it a bad cable? I am stumped!

Re: Spark plug fouls
So you are saying that it is on the top of the spark plug where the plug wire connects to if so then your plug wire is probably bad. Change the plug wires and see if that helps.
