A frustrating speaker issue (DB 651)

I am having issues with installing my new Polk DB651 speakers in the front of my 1998 Honda Civic Sedan. The speaker won't fit in all the way, so I can't put the speaker grill on and the speaker is slightly lopsided. Also there are only 3 holes in the mount but the speaker requires 4. HALP!

Re: A frustrating speaker issue (DB 651)

I had the same problem, so I hacked out the plastic so that it accommodates the depth....it might look a little bad but no one is going to see behind the speaker anyways....as long as you have 3 of the 4 screws in, should be fine...I only have 2 of 3 on mine.
