Looking for hp gains please help...
i have a 1997 civic dx d16y8 and i wanted to know what i could do to get more hp, or if anyone knew the best place to look for a swap. dont wanna go broke but looking to make my little guy a whole lot faster. thanks

Ok....if you want ALOT more power then do a swap. I am planning on a K20 swap....VERY SPENDY and difficult! Really any swap will be spendy. A swap isall preferance though.
My buddy and I took his Y8 to 550whp. cost around 10k to do so...but it happened.
For an everyday budget then do a cold air intake, full exhaust system, cam, ignition, lighten it up a bit....anything of that sort. But with bolt ons your not going to get anywhere close to 100hp gain. Might break 50hp.....MAYBE!
