ticking noise

97 honda civic. I have a ticking noise coming from the right front wheel. It only makes the noise under acceleraction or when I'm turning left. I believe that it is the cv axle, but was wondering if anyone else has some ideas. Let me know your thoughts.

get under the car and see if the rubber boot is torn and leaking grease.

Yep, torn boot would be a good sign.

I had this issue and had to replace my CV shaft and wheel bearing. I replaced both sides at the same time, but it was a good weekend project for me. No problems with it now tho!
