would a 95 intake give me any extra power for my 96 civic dx? i heard it would idk. wat do you guys say? or know

i dont think much has changed between those engines. the manifolds are prolly very similar. the only parts that would matter enough are on the newer type-r motors, some of them have much better manifolds with adjusting runners. 95 civic ex came with d16z6 vtec with 125 hp, 96 civic ex came with d16z7 vtec and 127 hp. the 95 engine is considered to be the best sohc motor for building up, but hp ratings are nearly the same in stock form. so i doubt the older manifold would give much gain, if any.
