6th gen mileage
Re: 6th gen mileage
I have a '98 Civic LX. It has 150K miles on it. The car originally belonged to my sister and sat in front of her yard--prolly driven twice a month.
I drove my truck to work and spent $800-$1000 a month on gas. My sister gave her car to me and originally I got only 26-29 mpg. After I swapped out the tires and did a couple oil changes I get a consistent 35-36 mpg driving 65-75 mph highway & 15-55 city.
The car doesn't need the following but as a preventative measure I think I'll do it: timing belt, gasket, spark plugs, tranny oil change, etc.
