1997 Coupe Power locks

I have a 1997 Civic Coupe 1.6i LS. It has power locks but no keyless entry. I bought a keyless entry system from eBay but I am having a slight problem. I took the door panel off. I can get it to work perfectly when connected to the drivers door. I cant feed the 2 wires from the drivers door into the car as it is too difficult to feed them through the rubber tube. I think I can see the multi-block connecter that it end up at in the drivers foot-well.

I have two wires to connect. One to open and one to close. I connect my two wires to the blue/white and blue/red wires in the connector pictured above. This is located on the drivers door.

I think the connector inside the foot-well that marries up to the connector above is :

To give you an idea of location, here is a wider picture :

I live in Scotland, UK, so my car is right hand drive.

My problem is that I cant figure out which wires coincide with the blue/white and blue/red wires at the connector on the drivers door. It is in a really awkward location.

I would be very grateful of some help.

Many thanks

Kenny

Re: 1997 Coupe Power locks

I show it as GREEN/ORANGE = UNLOCK And GREEN/WHITE = LOCK (to ground)
The colors will remain the same throughout the car. Check the wire colors at the lock/unlock switch.

Look at plugs near the drivers door.
