1st gen crx si
anyone know how to lower it? i know its a stupid question but it has two springs in the back and no springs in the front.

wtf?? thats weird. by two springs in the rear, do you mean two on each side for a total of 4 or just one on each side? for an old car like that where you dont really care about it, you could just cut the springs down in the rear. that should be an ok drop.

its actually my buddies beater car, i forget what theyre called. its not springs but tension bars or something???
i might have mixed them up, springs up in front, something in the back.
if you guys saw the latest pimp my ride. it looks exactly like that crx

probably springs in the front, torsion bar in the back. As the suspension lowers, it twists ((torsion)) the bar, which is like a straightened spring, and it resists the movement. 4WD trucks use them a lot in the front. you can sometimes get lowered torsion keys that will lower them. Probably not worth it though.
