I want to replace my original front strut assembly with the KYB "strut plus". I read that it is a good idea to replace the coil springs at the same time as the strut assembly so this seemed like a good thing. Monroe also makes a complete spring and strut assembly (called quickstrut) but it is a little softer.

My question is what is the part number for these kyb strut plus for the 2003 civic?

never ever even mention monroes here. they not considered dampers here.
springs are lifetime unless you want more stiffness or lowering.
no idea what these KYB "strut plus" are.

KYB Is like oem cheap replacement suspension. if you want stiffer ride coilovers way to go. $1200-1500 at least. if your looking for oem replacement and need a part # i would call a suspension shop that uses kyb shocks and struts and they should be able to figure that out for you. i dont think a whole lot of people on this site will be able to answer that question. aftermarket lots of opinions and systems. oem not so much

Now that OP have not been back for a while, I wonder why people thinks that DIY means asking questions... DIY section is for people posting HOW TO DO THEMSELVES, not for idiots asking "HOW DO I DO IT?!??????"
