A 2004 tranny...
A 2004 tranny...
is 2004 transmission has an issue on input shaft bearing like in all this generation from 2001-2005(7th generation).
reason is I got this as '04 spare tranny from a junkyard, and check the odometer, which has 240,000km on it already.
my 2001 acura has issues on noisy input shaft bearing, in which I am having it for a month now, also if I will plug it in to my 2001 Acura, do I need to rebuild this year model 2004 tranny again? including other bearing inside this tranny and etc. or I'll just plug it in to my Acura EL 2001 1.7?
Please need advice/opinion on this, thanks in advance!!!
Cheers,
Elfred

Re: A 2004 tranny...
all the 01-05 trannys eventually develop this issue. does it feel like the shaft has excessive play?
you can either rebuild it and then drop it in, or just drop it in
