2004 honda civic lx transmission pump overhaul?
Just wanted to ask if I need to replace the automatic transmission fluid pump on my 2004 honca civic lx? I'm going to overhaul the transmission but notice that the overhaul kit doesn't come with the pump and am having a hard time finding the pump online. Can i do the overhaul without having to break it down again to replace the pump? Or should i just find the pump and do it all at once?

I totally get replacing everything you can think of when doing this kind of job DIY.
The transmission pump is not something i have read anyone posting problems with on these engines..
If your transmission didn’t shred a bearing or sun/spur gear it would not be something you just need to replace.
