EM2 fog lights painted with krylon stained glass help.
EM2 fog lights painted with krylon stained glass help.
So the other day I decided to paint my clear fog lights with yellow krylon stained glass paint and it came out awesome! The problem is I was going for a dark golden look but instead got a nice bright green. It looks awesome and don't get me wrong but green was not the color I was going for.
I have 3000k hids on my fogs &
8000k on my headlights.
Anyone know why the output is green instead of a golden yellow?

the 3000k HID' s are pretty yellow but have a hint of green so i decided to paint my fogs with 6 coats of krylon to try and darken the yellow but its green instead of a dark yellow. . .

So maybe the yellow lenses are acting like a filter, blocking the yellow spectrum of the bulb and allowing the green through
