Re: Muffler for my civic?

Depending on what you'd want to spend you could get an axle back exhaust which should just bolt right on to your resonator by your back wheels, then you wouldn't have to fabricate the universal muffler to attach it to existing piping. It would be relatively cheap depending on what quality you are looking for. If you search for an axle back or cat back exhaust for your car then it is normally easy to find direct bolt on. You can spend anywhere from $65 up to $1400, just depends how much you want to spend. If your just looking for deeper sound but aren't trying to invest too much I'd go with a relatively cheap axle back.

If the muffler is not made for your direct year then you will need to hang it yourself and use muffler clamps (unless you have a welder). A muffler shop can do it also and it shouldn't be to expensive.

Check out the exhaust thread and YouTube for what you like best. Just be careful with cheap mufflers as they won't hold up.
