rear defrost doesnt work

rear defrost doesnt work
I have a honda civic 2001, and my rear defogger doesn t work.
The light on the switch is on, all the fuses are good, and the relay seems to be working.
I ve unpluged both terminals on the rear window and checked with a meter and there is no power going there.
I tried to follow those wires but I dont really feel like ripping everything out to find if one of the wire is cut.
can the switch be the problem? is there anything else I can do?

Check the connections at the black box mounted under rear deck on drivers side. The wiring for the grid runs through it and someone recently had a connector loose causing similar.
