Muffler/exhaust tips around a big rear sway

Hey guys,

So the stock muffler won't fit with an RSX Progress rear sway bar and I don't want to get a full exhaust system (and definitely not a ricey one). Are there any axleback exhausts that won't rub against a big rear sway bar and won't sound like a fart can? If not, would also consider hammering on the stock muffler... lol
Thanks!

the 22m or the 24mm?

I wrapped a leather piece in there and held it with a pipe clamp, but ended up getting a cheap axleback muffler.

Yep, the HKS does clear it.
But it's angled, so it does look ricey, but it doesn't sound ricey.

Angled makes it JDM. It has a gangsta lean

The large 4" tip did hold me back for a while, but eventually I got over it cause it sounds good.

I thought it was 3"?
It's not that large compared to most.

It's the 24mm. Having just dumped a bunch into the shocks/coilovers with the sway bar, the HKS is a bit pricey for now (didn't think an axleback would cost $400+).

That said, it does sound really nice. Broke the bolts off the rusty muffler when working on it so any one will be less ricey than it sounds right now lol

btw sdaidoji, what axleback are you running? Do you like it?

Re: Muffler/exhaust tips around a big rear sway

i simply wanted one that i would not have to move the leather protection i clamped there, so simply looked around by muffler size and got the smaller one to have more room.

can't remember what it is, don't really matter anyway
