2005 Seatbelt tensioner

Hey folks,

Great forum. 1st timer here.

Looking at buying a 2005 EX for teenage daughter, but the Airbag light is on and local shop says it is the seat belt tensioner that needs replaced. I searched forum and see some folks say Honda should cover the seatbelts lifetime. Will this fall under that? If not, is this a DIY job or worth the $350 the shop wants for the replacement?

TIA

Sorry if this is a duplicate post as I had an error with the first attempt

I also recall hearing the dealers will cover all seatbelt issues for the life of the car. I'd take it to a honda dealer and find out.
