I changed my water pump and timing belt. It's the second one I did this week. I changed both on my 2002 Civic and it runs fine. I did the 2005 a couple of days later. Now it starts; runs about 2 seconds and shuts down. No codes.
Thinking I did something wrong, I disconnected the CMP; it wouldn't start, but threw the appropriate codes.
Reconnected the CMP and disconnected the CKP. It starts and runs but in limp mode with the appropriate Code P0335.
I checked out the wires; they checked fine; 12 volt, ground and signal. I put in a new CKP. Now I get no codes but it does the same thing. Starts; runs two seconds; shuts down.
Can anyone suggest where I should start looking next?

Are you calling the upper or lower sensor the CKP?Reconnected the CMP and disconnected the CKP. It starts and runs

The usual cause: Out of time. Now it starts; runs about 2 seconds and shuts down. No codes.
Cam and crank are not in proper sync, PCM shuts it down at 2 seconds.
Will run if cam signal is missing completely, but will not run if out of sync.
Runs with low power because it's out of time.
