Question gas guage issue

i know this has prob been asked but im asking my gas guage is reading half tank and my low fuel light is on? is the sending unit bad anyone else have this issue?

Mine does the same thing. I will have half a tank when I first start the car and after like 5 minutes of driving my fuel light will come on and then the next time I will start the car again it would be at half a tank like before.
