Water Pump-92k miles

Hi,

I have a 04 Civic Lx and I just got this car when it is 87k. Around 60k the previous owner changed the timing belt. But I didn't see water pump replacement on the records. So do I need to change it? As far as I know, they recommend to change it when you change the timing belt.

Thanks,

If it isn't leaking or causing a problem, leave it alone.
Wait until the next timing belt job and evaluate it then.

Re: Water Pump-92k miles

Yea, its not exactly the easiest thing to change once everything is put back together.

Its done as perventive maintenance.

At this point just do as ezone said. I would highly reccomend changing in next time around unless you feel really lucky lol.
