i have an outlaw car alarm system(i don't know what model it is because i bought the car used) and the unlocking sound is very annoying. its two beeps that sound exactly like the horn. i was wondering if anyone knows a generic way to disable this sound?

how many buttons does the remote have? if there are four and if there is a Star "*" button press that button once then press the unlock button for silent disarm and unlock.. this works on Viper and clifford alarms. also works for silent arming.

there are 4 buttons but its unlock, lock, trunk, and panic, i dont see a star button

like i said earlier in this thread, i dont really know which model. but after some research online, i found out its a crimestopper remote ( or looks like it) the bottom of the remote says "The Outlaw" instead of crimestoppers though. on the back is the FCC ID which is J5523518R. here are some pictures
