d17 turbo on a 150.000 miles engine..

ok so i have a 04 civic dx vp my car actually runs great is all paid of and **** and i love it period now here is the thing my engine has 150.000 and i do want more power but i dont have much experience, so i would love to put a turbo in it, wich i dont mind to pay for but i wanna know step by step what do i have to do in order to run safely with a turbo and what should i do to my motor to be able to handle the turbo power with no pro..tx btw

a turbo on a stock d17? probably a bad idea. If i were to want to put a turbo in... I'd probably want better pistons and rings, connecting rods, i'd think about a ported and polished head to handle the added airflow. cooler running sparkplugs. I don't know enough about the d17 block to say yes or no, but if you wanna go faster. delete your AC compressor put on a pulley in it's place, make it lighter. if you wanna go fast for reasonably cheap, nitrous might be a better idea. I would highly suggest going to your friends at the honda dealership and make friends with a tech. they'll know what would need to be strengthened.

Sure ROCK I totally agree with u, I wouldn't even consider doin that to my stock engine not.even new and definily no with 150k miles, wich leads me to the next question.. do u or anybody knows about someone reliable and well not expensive that knows how to rebuild my engine..? U know someone that u guys know.done it before..?
